'Who is the bridegroom of this procession?' - Former BJP minister Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized the Patna meeting

Patna: Regarding the ongoing meeting of opposition leaders in Bihar, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad asked, ‘Who is the groom of this wedding procession?’ He questioned that.

Several state chief ministers and leaders from various parties are meeting in Bihar capital Patna to forge unity among non-BJP leaders in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In this situation, former Union Minister and Bihar BJP member Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “Nitish Kumar has organized a wedding procession for the 2024 election in Patna. But who is the groom (prime ministerial candidate) of this procession? All those present consider themselves as the prime ministerial candidate.” Said that.

Earlier, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi said about the meeting of opposition leaders, “It is a procession where everyone is a groom, but there are no guests. Everyone in it sees themselves as competitors. Nitish Kumar has organized such a procession. Everyone there wants others to accept their opinion.” They think,” he said.

BJP National President Review: Addressing a meeting at Bhavanipatna in Kalahandi, BJP National President JP Nata said, “Strange things are happening in politics today. Those who were jailed by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi during the declaration of Emergency, today welcomed her grandson Rahul Gandhi and joined hands.”

I saw that Uddhav Thackeray had gone to Patna to attend a meeting of opposition parties. His father Hindu Hirde Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray continued to oppose the Congress party. Once he said, ‘I will close the shop (referring to the Shiv Sena) if I join the Congress. Today his son has closed the shop”, said Natta.

It may be recalled that Laluprasad Yadav was jailed for 22 months and Nitish Kumar for 20 months during Emergency in India.
