Truecaller has introduced its users a call recording feature with high clarity, available in text format. Android and iPhone users can know how to use it through this post.
Truecaller has now introduced this AI-powered call recording feature to over 350 million iPhone and Android users. This feature is currently rolling out in the US. Truecaller said that this feature will be gradually introduced in different countries of the world in the next few months.
With this new feature, the voices of people speaking on both sides of a phone call are also recorded with greater clarity. And they are transcribed and converted into alphabets, making them easier to use, the company said.
Each transcription is written using a technology called ‘Language Model Technology’ with a brief title. Because of this you can quickly find a specific part you are thinking of from a long transcription.
Apart from that, all these recordings can be saved as a backup in iCloud storage for iPhone users. Android users can also choose the option to save recordings to Google Drive. Now let’s see how this Truecaller call recording feature works on iPhone:
– Regarding incoming calls users should open Truecaller application after answering incoming calls. Go to the Search Tab
– Users can merge incoming and outgoing calls by calling the recording line in the Truecaller application
– Tap the ‘Record a call’ button
– The person on the other end will hear a beep when the call recording has started
For both incoming and outgoing calls you will be notified via push notification once the call is ready for recording. All these recorded calls on iPhone are automatically saved on the phone. Additionally, users also get an option to create it as a backup for security reasons.
Android Phone:
– You can start or end the recording through the recording button in the Truecaller dialer
– Other tuners have a ‘floating’ button to start and stop recording
– Users will be notified via push notification that recording is ready once the call is over
