ICC World Cup 2023: Trophy launched at 1.20 lakh feet; Amazing video!

The International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s 50 Over Cricket World Cup will be held in India from October 5 to November 19.

Teams including India, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Afghanistan are participating in this series. In this case, the ICC has introduced the trophy for this series in a very grand manner in the stratosphere at a height of 1,20,000 feet above the earth.

Later, the trophy descends from the sky at a height of 1,20,000 feet in a bespoke stratospheric balloon and lands at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Its astonishing grandeur was captured by cameras attached to the balloon from various angles and released as a video.

After this, this trophy will be crawling in various cities in India from today till July 14th. Following this, they will tour 18 countries including Bahrain, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, America, West Indies, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Italy, France, England, Uganda, Nigeria and South Africa. Finally, the trophy is scheduled to be brought back to India on September 4.

Today, the ICC has released the schedule for the series which will be held from October 5 to November 19.

The first match of the series between England and New Zealand will begin on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final will conclude on November 19 at the same Ahmedabad Narendra Modi Stadium.

Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see if the Indian team will win the trophy in this grand series in India.

A total of 5 matches are going to be held at the Chennai Chepakkam stadium on October 8, 14, 18, 23 and 27. Full details in below link…
