Chennai: Udhayanidhi Stalin has said that he had no understanding of reservation when he made the film ‘Ejaham Vidhu’ in 2011.
After the films ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ and ‘Karnan’, director Mari Selvaraj’s film ‘Mamannan’ is coming. Produced by Red Giant Movies, the film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role along with Fahadh Basil and Vadivelu. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead in the film. AR Rahman has composed the music. I did not see it in the political understanding that existed at that time. I stopped thinking that it was only cinema. Suriya did not know when that scene was shot. He is not in that scene. Suriya, who saw the film after the shooting, called me and told me that the verse should not appear in the film; He told me to delete it. He had that understanding then. But I told him, “It’s no big deal. Let it be like that. I had no understanding of it then.
