Patna meeting | Joining the Opposition is Opportunistic Politics - Review by JP Natta

Bhubaneswar: BJP National President JP Natta has criticized the joining of opposition parties in Bihar capital Patna as opportunistic politics.

JP Natta addressed a BJP general meeting held in Bhavanipatna, Odisha. Synopsis of his speech: “I was surprised to see the leaders of the opposition embracing each other in Patna. I was born in Patna and schooled there, which reminded me of my childhood days.

Lalu Prasad Yadav was jailed for 22 months by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother; Nitish Kumar was jailed for 20 months. When Rahul Gandhi was welcomed in Patna, where did their politics begin; I am amazed at where it is now.

Former Shiv Sena president Pal Thackeray was a staunch opponent of the Congress party. He is the one who said that he will dissolve the party if there is an alliance with the Congress party. But if he finds out that his son is doing the job now, he will be devastated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new political culture to our country. He rescued the country from succession and family politics and vote bank politics and led the country to the path of development. We believe in politics that gives us an account of what we have done with the power of government. We have fulfilled what we promised. Whatever promises we make, we will definitely fulfill them.

The Congress party has completely turned into a camp of the uneducated. The party is trying to mislead people with their bad politics. After being in power for so many years, they are now talking about poverty. Poverty has come down to below 10 percent under the Narendra Modi regime. The country’s economic growth is at 8.7 percent amid the Covid pandemic and the war in Ukraine. Inflation in India is lower than world inflation.

Rather than making India a developing country; Prime Minister Modi is striving to present himself as a developed country in front of the world. World leaders and economists appreciate the development the country has achieved under his leadership. The central government has spent Rs 18 lakh crore in the last 9 years for highways, railways and metro trains. Another lakh crore is to be spent this year. In the last 9 years, the National Highway has been expanded to 54 thousand km. Metro rail service has been extended to 616 km.

During the previous 10 years of Congress rule, 14.3 kilometers of national highways were laid per day. It has been increased to 29 km under the Modi regime. In the last 70 years, 74 airports have been established in the country. 74 new airports have been constructed during Modi’s 9-year rule. These statistics are testimony to how India is transforming,” JP Natta addressed.

Comment by Amit Shah: Meanwhile, Amit Shah, talking about the meeting of the opposition parties in Bihar capital Patna, said, “They are gathering for a photo shoot. They want to oppose the BJP. No matter how hard they try, they cannot unite. Even if they unite, people will ensure that Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister again by winning more than 300 parliamentarians.” He said.
