Chennai: Meta company has launched ‘Meta Verified’ app under paid subscription mode in India. Through this users can subscribe and convert their Facebook and Instagram account to Verified account. Let’s see its price and other details.
A few months ago, Meta also announced that it would be bringing Verified Account authorization under the subscription system to users via Twitter. As such, it has now been introduced in India. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, said this.
It has also been informed that there will be no change in the authorization of already verified accounts. They are informed that they can continue to receive it free of charge. Meta Verified was announced last March.
Monthly subscription for Meta Verified app on users web browsers is announced at Rs.599. Similarly, the monthly fee for Android and iOS platform usage has been announced as Rs.699.
How do users get the Meta Verified app? Meta has set some criteria for this. It seems that the Verified app is only available to those types of users. Similarly, users’ Facebook and Instagram records also appear to be the basis for this. 18 years of age and government issued photo ID is also required. Mainly, the name on this ID card should match with the Facebook and Instagram name of the user.
It seems that this will bring some exclusive features and benefits including a wider reach for the content posted by the users.
