After Yogi Adityanath took over as Chief Minister in Uttar Pradesh, the action against criminals has been intensified. So far 185 criminals have been shot dead in police encounters. He was shot dead in another criminal encounter today. A criminal named Kubran was wanted by the Uttar Pradesh Police. More than 13 cases of murder, attempted murder and kidnapping are pending against him.
The Uttar Pradesh police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for information about him. In this case, the police got a secret information that Kubran was hiding in a place called Kelashambi. They immediately searched for him at his whereabouts early this morning. On seeing the police, Kubran opened fire on them. The police retaliated in self-defence. Kubran was seriously injured in this.
The police immediately rushed him to the hospital. But doctors said he was already dead. Deceased Khubran was involved in a lot of crime in Pratapgarh district.
