Controversy has arisen in recent days over the sale of liquor at Tasmac shops at prices higher than the fixed price. In this situation, a young man went to Tasmac shop in Mundiambakkam area of Villupuram district. When he bought a bottle of liquor worth Rs 160 there, the Tasmac employee asked for an extra Rs 10. Due to this, the enraged youth asked, “Why are you asking more than the MRP price” and recorded the video. Sivasubramaniam, a Tasmac employee speaking in it, said, “We are the ones who pay for the dying wages and the broken bottle.

The government did not give. All this will be practical only if there is a method. These videos have now been released and have created a stir.
We sought an explanation from the Villupuram District Tasmac Manager. “We have asked all Tasmac shops to sell liquor at MRP price. We are currently investigating the incident. Appropriate action will be taken,” he said.
