‘Aadipurush’ is an adaptation of the Ramayana. The film is directed by Om Rawat, who directed the 2020 film ‘Tanhaji’.
Actor Prabhas will play the role of Rama, while Kriti Sanon, Devdut Nagy, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh will play Ramayana characters. The film, which was scheduled to release in January itself, has been released in theaters today (June 16) in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and other languages amid various controversies due to criticism that the quality of the VFX scenes was not good.
