In the national capital, Delhi, the incident of an unidentified gang entering the house and shooting dead the sisters in the RK Puram area has caused a great shock. Earlier today at around 4 o’clock in the morning, the police received information over the phone that some people had shot the sisters in the house. When the police immediately went to the spot, they found two women shot and lying in a pool of blood. Both of them were taken to the hospital by the police. But both died without treatment.
About the shooting that took place at Ambedkar Basti, Deputy Police Commissioner Manoj said, “At 4:40 a.m., a call was received at RK Puram Ambedkar Basti saying that someone had shot their sister. Sisters Jyoti (30) and Pinky (29) who were shot and taken to the hospital died without treatment. The main culprit who fired the gun and his accomplice have been arrested,” he said.
Regarding this, the police further said, “The two criminals were looking for Lalit, the brother of the two sisters who died in the shooting due to a debt problem. They shot and killed the sisters because they couldn’t find him,” he said.
Regarding this, Lala, another brother of the deceased, said, “My brother had given a loan to someone. Yesterday he went to recover the loan. There is an argument between them. We were sleeping early this morning.
At 2:10 in the morning, a group of people came and knocked rapidly on the door. They knocked on the door for a while and left. They came back with guns to kill my brother. They tried to shoot my brother. But my sisters tried to save him. As a result, my sisters shot both of them and escaped,” he said. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has strongly condemned the incident.
