Ahmedabad: Officials said that the Bipperjoy storm is 140 kilometers from the Gujarat coast and 74,000 people have been evacuated from the coast.
India Meteorological Center Information: Cyclone Pipparjoy, formed in the Arabian Sea, is approaching the Gujarat coast at a speed of 8 kmph. The storm is expected to make landfall between 4pm and 8pm today. The storm is located 140 km from Jakub Port city of Gujarat, 190 km from Devbhoomi Dwarka and 230 km from Karachi, Pakistan.
