The girl S.S. Yazhini said:

My parents used to take me to Thiruvasakam Torothal event. I started learning Thiruvasakam from the age of 5. Thiruvasagam is a collection of hymns sung by the benefactor Manikavasaka on Lord Shiva, the Saivite deity. It is the eighth of the twelve Saivite rituals. The lyrics sung by Manikkawasakar are easy to read and easy to understand. I will participate in the Tiruvasakam blockade program at the Thirunagar Thirumpi Forum. I often listen to Thiruvasaka discourses of Thirukkalukkunram Damodaran and meditate. I learned and trained from the reciters of Thiruvasakam and Thirumpi.

I participated in the Thiruvasakam Morthodal competition held at Thiruvavaduthurai Atheena Math (when I was studying 2nd standard) and won the first prize. The idea came to achieve success in spirituality. According to this, I achieved a record by singing 51 Bhatikam, 658 songs in Thiruvasakat in 3 hours and 47 minutes.

I have been going to every district and participating in spiritual programs and lecturing. I have received the title of Thiruvasaka Musician from the World Sivanatiyar Thirukutam organization and have received accolades and awards from various organizations.

I have aimed to sing the 63 Nayanmars’ history in 12 Thirupis ragas.

This is what he said.
